At Paramount College of Natural Medicine we are hugely proud of the advanced state of our student, learning and business management technologies. We have, for several years, made significant ongoing investments in developing our own platform as third party ‘off-the-shelf’ systems, no matter how comprehensive in their scope and functionality, have simply been unable to meet the exacting needs we have for our students to have the best possible learning tools available.
With the assistance of the Commonwealth Government’s R&D Tax Concession programme, Paramount College has been on a journey of researching and developing a unique software tool that provides the capability of not only running multiple programmes in multiple locations, but also flexible enough to manage the 3 different business models for each. These models include: Company owned and managed, licensed, and franchised.
This investment has not been without a high degree of trial and error, with many iterations of software failing to deliver the needs of gearing towards our plans for expanded Paramount College campus presences in remote locations across Australia and elsewhere around the world.
Natural Medicine is a rapidly growing professional discipline which is ideally suited to the application of leading edge educational tools and College business management processes. Our sophisticated delivery modalities (involving, amongst many others, an extensive array of interactive learning materials, audio-video presentations and examination preparation resources) significantly improve learning outcomes and are complemented by custom-developed multi-site student enrolment capabilities which allow us to in-tandem manage student VET FEE status providing audit quality compliance reporting to the Commonwealth government.
In getting our systems to their current, advanced, state we have had to overcome business and technology process obstacles which have, arguably, been addressed for the first time by any Australian college of natural medicine (although we stand ready to be corrected!)
Areas such as on line natural medicine research database integration, on-line examinations, exact status module reporting and educationally relevant on-page layouts which are dynamically represented depending on the materials modality chosen are just four areas which have been custom-developed by Paramount to deliver unique value in the educational experience of our students and our future franchisees.
