Over the duration of the course, you will be required to participate in the student clinic (refer to your chosen course outline for the total number of log book hours required)*. This hands-on approach provides valuable experience in your chosen field of studies, including dispensing herbal, homoeopathic and nutritional supplements, different examination & dispensary techniques, dealing with clients in a professional manner and of course, observing and taking cases. Student clinic hours will need to be completed before graduation can take place.
*Students undertaking multiple qualifications should check with Paramount College staff regarding the number of clinic hours to complete all qualifications.
The Student Clinic is open to the public and is supervised by suitably qualified natural health practitioners. Components of your assessments will focus on your ability to correctly document client histories, treatment protocols and outcomes.
Attendance at Student Clinic is compulsory, upon successful completion of your first year modules. At Paramount College you will be charged a nominal fee for this facility; with the value returned to you. We believe this is an integral part of your learning experience, and are positively committed to your future success.
