Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees are only incurred per enrolled unit/s of study. Fees are maintained for a period of three calendar years, based on the year of a student’s initial enrolment, e.g. 2015 fees will be maintained for students who enrol in 2015 (prior to the 18th December of that year) for 2015, 2016 & 2017, after which time current fees will be charged, as published; thereafter a student will always be charged the current fees. Fees are reviewed by the 18th December each year for the following year.

Payment Plans

Option 1: Fee-Help

Students who are eligible for FEE-HELP, and request FEE-HELP assistance prior to the census date, will have their tuition fees paid by the Australian Government, under the FEE-HELP Tuition Loan Scheme. Full details concerning FEE-HELP assistance may be downloaded here.

Eligibility for FEE-HELP assistance – An eligible student must be an Australian citizen, a New Zealand Special Category Visa holder who meets the long-term residency criteria or permanent humanitarian visa holder who is resident in Australia for the duration of study.

The minimum repayment threshold – Students repay their FEE-HELP debt to the Australian Government through the tax system once their income reaches the minimum repayment threshold. Please refer to www.ato.gov.au for further details.

The FEE-HELP limit – Over their lifetime, students may borrow up to the FEE-HELP limit (this limit is indexed annually).

The 25% loan fee – The Australian Government applies a loan fee of up to 25% for FEE-HELP loans.

FEE-HELP Assistance is available for these qualifications:

Option 2: Full Payment On Acceptance

A partial payment of $100 per unit of study is to be paid prior to the Administration Date for each enrolment or re-enrolment; the partial payment is deducted from the total tuition fees for that unit of study. Full payment is then due by the Census Date.

Option 3: Payment Plan

A partial payment of $100 per unit of study is to be paid prior to the Administration Date for each enrolment or re-enrolment; the partial payment is deducted from the total tuition fees for that unit of study. The balance of the account is to be paid in 4 equal monthly instalments, with the first payment due on the Census Date. Payment plans are not available for overseas students, or students who have not met previous payment plan obligations.
