Our comprehensive nutrition courses provide the graduate Nutritional Medicine Practitioner with the necessary skills in a range of nutritional medicine treatments, based on Biological Sciences, Nutrition & Herbal Medicine.
Graduate Skills
Upon completion of this nutrition course, the graduate Nutritional medicine therapist will be equipped to start their own clinic or integrate themselves into an established practice. They will be capable of utilising nutritional and supportive therapies, with eligibility for professional registration, ensuring their professional status within the industry.
Electives
Two electives are required to be completed during the nutrition courses in perth; a diverse selection is available, such as Homoeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Fertility Management, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Deep Tissue Massage (elective/short course brochures are available on request from your training provider). We are responsive to your needs, offering additional electives as we identify your keenest areas of interest; however exemptions will not be given for electives.
Clinical Experience
Students are required to participate in a minimum of 400 log book hours. This satisfies the practical aspects required for completion of this nutrition course, alongside enjoying the valuable experience of student clinic, where the majority of your log book hours will be accrued. This experiential learning provides students with confidence and the opportunity to apply their skills in a professional setting, with the reassurance of direct supervision by qualified practitioners.
