With a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Paramount College graduates can embark on a new career within a year of full time study (32 contact weeks). The Diploma is the second highest qualification available in Australia through the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector, and is a well regarded standard internationally. Paramount College’s Diploma qualification provides a solid foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, and can also provide the basis for further study.
Diploma Graduates of the Paramount College Training Model are eligible to apply for membership of the Australian Natural Therapists Association. Professional membership of this organisation is highly respected, and enables members to access professional insurances. Many of the modules studied would also provide exemptions for further study; the following modules could be automatically credited towards an Advanced Diploma qualification at Paramount College. The modules which could currently articulate directly with a Paramount College Advanced Diploma are:
- Massage 1
- Nutrition 1
- Nutrition 2
- Practice Management
- Professional Development
- First Aid
Massage 1 could only be applied to the Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy, as our other Advanced Diplomas do not include this module. All other subjects, could provide credit as electives.
Elements of a graduate’s clinical practice time could also provide future credit against required practical experience.
A Diploma qualification provides the graduates with the following key descriptors:
- demonstrate understanding of a broad knowledge base incorporating theoretical concepts, with substantial depth in some areas
- analyse and plan approaches to technical problems or management requirements
- evaluate information using it to forecast for planning or research purposes
- transfer and apply theoretical concepts and/or technical or creative skills to a range of situations
- take responsibility for own outputs in relation to broad quantity and quality parameters
- take limited responsibility for the achievement of group outcomes
Paramount College graduates would also have completed an internship of approximately 200 hours of supervised professional and clinical practicum through a broad range of activities; this provides the newly qualified practitioner with a solid foundation to confidently start their professional lives.
Paramount College students can graduate with a Diploma within 1 year of full time study (32 contact weeks).
Based on current tuition fees, Paramount College students can achieve their Diploma qualification for only $9,990.00 (excluding textbooks). However due to Paramount’s flexible training model, it is also possible to add extra qualifications for very little extra cost, an example of which is outlined below:

Graduates of Paramount College’s Diploma of Remedial Massage are eligible to apply for professional membership with the Australian Natural Therapists Association and the Australian Association of Massage Therapists.
