With your Certificate IV in Massage, Paramount College graduates can start earning an income in a new industry after 16 contact weeks. An accredited Certificate IV is usually an extremely practical course, which is available in Australia through the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector. Nevertheless, Paramount College’s Certificate IV qualifications provide a broad range of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, and also offer options for further study.
Certificate IV Graduates of the Paramount College Training Model are eligible to apply for membership with relevant professional associations. This recognises the student’s formal qualification, and provides access to professional insurances. Most of the modules studied would also provide exemption for further study towards a Diploma qualification at Paramount College. (Refer Diploma)
Paramount College currently offer three Certificate IV qualifications, which are:
- Mind Body Medicine
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice
- Certificate IV in Aromatherapy
A Certificate IV qualification provides the graduate with the following key descriptors:
- demonstrate understanding of a broad knowledge base incorporating some theoretical concepts
- apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems
- identify, analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources
- identify and apply skill and knowledge areas to a wide variety of contexts with depth in some areas
- take responsibility for own outputs in relation to specified quality standards
- take limited responsibility for the quantity and quality of the output of others
Paramount College graduates would also have completed an internship of approximately 100 hours of supervised professional and clinical practicum through a broad range of activities; this provides the newly qualified practitioner with a solid foundation to confidently start their professional lives.
Paramount College students can graduate with a Certificate VI within 16 weeks of full time study.
Based on current tuition fees, Paramount College students can achieve a Certificate IV qualification for only $4,900.00 (excluding textbooks). However due to Paramount’s flexible training model, it is also possible to add extra qualifications for very little extra cost, an example of which is outlined below:

Graduates of Paramount College’s Certificate IV qualifications are eligible to apply for professional membership with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists and the Australian Aromatic Medicine Association.
