Paramount College graduates have an easy academic pathway to achieve their Bachelor qualification, through their alliance with Charles Sturt University. The Bachelor level is the highest undergraduate qualification available in Australia, and is a well regarded standard internationally. As the field of natural medicine continues to grow, in terms of professional practice, and acceptance by the health care profession and the community at large, the standard of education required is also rising. A Bachelor Degree enhances the professional standing of the graduate and also forms the basis for further post graduate study.
Advanced Diploma Graduates of the Paramount College Training Model are eligible to apply for admission into the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) programme at Charles Sturt University. This institution offers distance education options, and a Master of Health Science stream.
Paramount College’s four Advanced Diploma qualifications which articulate directly to the Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) are:
- Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy
- Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine
- Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine
- Advanced Diploma of Homoeopathy
A Bachelor qualification provides the graduates with the following key descriptors:
- an understanding of a systematic and coherent body of knowledge and its underlying principles and concepts
- communication and problem solving skills
- the ability to undertake research, analyse information and apply knowledge and techniques learnt within an academic and professional context
- skills for self-directed and lifelong learning
- and interpersonal and teamwork skills appropriate to professional practice, employment and/or further study
Paramount College graduates would also have completed an internship of approximately 600 hours of supervised professional and clinical practicum through a broad range of activities; this provides the newly qualified practitioner with a solid foundation to confidently start their professional lives.
Paramount College students can graduate with an Advanced Diploma within 3 years of full time study. Then with ONLY another 6 months remote study at Charles Sturt University studying an additional 4 subjects, these students can complete their Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine)*.
Based on current tuition fees, Paramount College students can achieve a their Bachelor level qualification for only $28,790.00 (excluding textbooks). According to your preferred area of specialisation, this cost is made up of the following fees:
