This course equips the Aromatherapist to provide basic Aromatherapy treatment. You will gain practical experience working within a natural therapy clinic, and be able to offer your skills to patients, guiding them to a state of optimum health and well-being. This course may also contribute to a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice, and Diploma of Remedial Massage. Components of this course in Aromatherapy may also be credited towards an Advanced Diploma.
Three electives are also required to be completed during the course; these include a diverse selection, such as Australian Bush Flower Essences, Kinesiology, Meditation, Reflexology and Yoga (elective/short course brochures are available on request). We are responsive to your needs, and will be offering additional electives as we identify your keenest areas of interest; however exemptions will not be given for electives (availability of electives may vary from campus to campus).
To complete the Certificate IV in Aromatherapy, and to satisfy the practical aspects of this course, you must also participate in a minimum of 100 log book hours. These hours will be accrued within the Student Clinic, where you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in a real environment, with the reassurance of direct supervision by qualified practitioners.
