Paramount College graduates can start their professional lives after 3 years of full time study. They can then start to earn an income, perhaps while finishing their Bachelor qualification by distance education through Charles Sturt University. The Advanced Diploma is the highest qualification available in Australia through the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector, and is a well regarded standard internationally. As the field of natural medicine continues to grow, in terms of professional practice, and acceptance by the health care profession and the community at large, the standard of education required is also rising. Paramount College’s Advanced Diploma qualifications provide a solid foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, and and also form the basis for further study.
Advanced Diploma Graduates of the Paramount College Training Model are eligible to apply for membership of the Australian Natural Therapists Association. This confers professional status to the graduate, as well as offering the more practical aspects of their careers, such as professional insurances. Advanced Diploma Graduates are also eligible to apply for admission into the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) programme at Charles Sturt University. Paramount College’s Advanced Diplomas now sit in the Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training sectors; satisfactory completion of the Advanced Diploma courses currently offered by Paramount College will confer a Bachelor of Health Science in your chosen modality, as well as an Advanced Diploma. Our Advanced Diploma graduates are also eligible to apply for enrolment in the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) at Charles Sturt University, with 160 credit points guaranteed towards the 192 credit points required. Graduates of Paramount College are also eligible to apply for membership of the Australian Natural Therapists Association; this ensures the professional standing of the graduate as well as offering very tangible benefits in their professional careers, such as health fund recognition (in certain modalities) and professional insurances.
An Advanced Diploma qualification provides the graduates with the following key descriptors:

Students may choose to complete their Bachelor of Health Science at Paramount College, who offer five degrees, being:
- Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)
- Bachelor of Health Science (Homoeopathy)
- Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional Medicine)
- Bachelor of Health Science (Western Herbal Medicine)
- Bachelor of Health Science (Mind Body Medicine)
Students who complete this qualification are also eligible for advanced standing at Charles Sturt University, where they are guaranteed to receive 160 credit points of the required 192 credit points towards the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine).
Paramount College graduates would also have completed an internship of approximately 400 hours of supervised professional and clinical practicum through a broad range of activities; this provides the newly qualified practitioner with a solid foundation to confidently start their professional lives.
